Question Description

I want one paragraph for each part as feedback comment to my classmate work at the discussion. First I’ll but my answer and example for the feedback that I got to my answer so you can know what is my thought for this assignment then I’ll but the classmate answer that you need to give them feedback as a response from me in this discussion,

Example answer:

Overview

The article on” Who uses mobile phone App and does use matter? A secondary data analytics approach” (Carroll, 2017) explains the sociodemographic features related to health app and how the app plays an important role in influencing the user’s attitude, prediction of the behavior of the users and how the app has met the required principal for the consumption of fruits and vegetables as well as physical fitness. According to a research carried out in the year 2015 on mobile phone usage, the research has shown that 64% of the United States population is mobile phone users. This statistic is important to the researcher in that it will provide the target population from which the sample should be drawn.

Analysis

The data that was used was drawn from a reliable source, National Cancer Institute’s 2015 Health Information National Trend Survey (HINTS) and thus can be trusted. A regression model was further used in analyzing the data hence assurance of accuracy of the results. In my opinion, the results drawn from the sample of 3677 could be 98% accurate and can be used to make decision related to health issues, however the sample size should be increased so as to increase the accuracy to 99.9% if not 100%. A simple regression model can be used for better results.

Conclusion

From the article, it can be clearly noted that users of the health app were young and educated who had excellent reports on health and had higher incomes. Despite the presence of persisting differences in age, gender and education attainment, most personal and sociodemographic issues are becoming less influential in the use of mobile phone app. The health app intended to make changes in the diet and recommendations for physical activities.

Feedback for Answer example:

Young people use the internet for most activities and its use to get medical help and advice cannot be ignored. I agree with you that this research is quite well done and reliable however. more research is needed for the health apps operating outside the WebMD. Some hospitals are adopting the use of apps to manage daily operations such as registering patients and booking appointments. In future, fitness health instructors and medical professors should be able to engage personally with patients through one on one chats instead of young adults following these generalized instructions. this will provide safety, privacy and efficacy in either weight loss, following a diet pattern and in watching one’s health and lifestyle.

PART 1 ( HERE YOU NEED TO WRITE ONE PARAGRAPH AS FEEDBACK FOR MY CLASSMATE ANSWER)

The adoption and use of software apps for healthcare and fitness are gradually increasing as people monitor their weight and diet. Although there is a little proof to show that these software apps actually change the behavior of those using them, it is evident that the users have an intention to change their lifestyle and diet. These apps are mostly used by young people to monitor their vegetable intake, fruit intake and to engage or monitor their physical activities. The apps are useful as they give more information about a personal health issue, provide the right exercises for weight loss and track lifestyle and diet patterns. The use of these apps is determined by age gender and educational attainment. College graduates are the most frequent users, and females are seen to engage more than males on these apps.

I agree with the conclusion that sociodemographic factors have less influence on mobile and app use. Perceptions, technology, and culture are always changing, and clinical care models need to be advanced to suit our current times. It is important for the health system to ensure safeness in the use of mobile software apps to monitor healthcare because of the ongoing demand. Issues of concern include the privacy of patients, eligibility of dietary data and diet recommendations. This will help users of these apps to self-manage their disease effectively and keep away potential threats.

PART 2 ( HERE YOU NEED TO WRITE ONE PARAGRAPH AS FEEDBACK FOR MY CLASSMATE ANSWER)

I found their overall test group a bit narrow and limited by age and types of patients that were part of the research cross section. I believe that the scope was too narrow, and here is why.

I see the medical profession embracing these aps in an effort to provide information effectively while reducing overhead of extra labor cost. My wife has been a nurse for 25 years. The group she works for once had 15 nurses working on call backs, information relaying, and scheduling of major procedures (which require multiple medical professionals like a surgeon, anesthesiologist, and surgery center.) This department now has only 7 registered nurses to cover the 5 locations needs. While some days are taxing, they are never completely overwhelmed as the majority of their previous busywork is now do by the application routing the proper work into the proper queues. Some of the queues are automated with a minimum input or review, such as a prescription refill for a birth control, or a doctor’s note for an employee.

The reduction is a result of the hospital group and insurance companies making it known that there are applications for your phone where you can get all the information you need. These applications allow you to book your appointments, send requests for medicine refills, have real time chat with registered nurses, send a message to your doctor and much more. The information database is quite extensive and much more useful than WebMD, where the stomach pain you are experience could be diagnosed as gas pain or stomach cancer.
